Save a page into a group that does not exist yet

When you save a page with the bookmarking window - the extension's button in the browser's top bar, the keyboard shortcut, or "Choose a place…" in the right-click menu - you do not have to make the group first.

  • At the end of the group list, choose "New group…" and type its name. The page is saved into the new group in one go.
  • At the end of the subgroup list, "New subgroup…" does the same for a subgroup of the chosen group.
  • A workspace with no group yet opens on "New group…" straight away, named "Ungrouped" unless you change it - so a page always has somewhere to go.
  • If the profile has no workspace at all, the window asks for the workspace's name as well.

The new group is an ordinary group: rename it, move it or drag links into it later, like any other.

The same window opens from the "+" next to a closed tab or a page in the history, so you can sort what you find there into a new group too.
