Terms of Service
Effective 2026-10-11
These terms govern your use of Tabilinks — the Tabilinks browser extension and the website tabilinks.app (together, "the service") — provided by Matej Kovac, sole trader, registration number (IČO) 21870781, Kaprova 42/14, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
By installing the extension, creating an account or buying premium, you accept these terms.
1. The service
The extension replaces the browser's new tab page with your own links, arranged into groups, together with widgets such as your history and most visited sites. It works without an account. An optional account adds synchronisation between installations and a backup of your data.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give a working email address and keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time on the Account page. Deleting it erases your synchronised data permanently; the extension keeps what is stored locally in your browser.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to store or spread malicious or unlawful content, to attack, overload or probe the service or its other users, or to get around its limits. We may suspend or close an account that does, after telling you why where the law allows.
4. Free and premium plans
- The free plan is free of charge, has limits (for example on the number of links, workspaces, profiles and synchronised installations) and shows a small banner on the new tab page.
- Premium removes those limits and the banner; what it calls unlimited is subject to the Fair Use Policy. It is offered as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, at the prices shown on the home page when you buy. Prices include VAT where it applies.
- "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the service; it is not a promise to operate it for ever. If we ever shut the service down, we will announce it at least 90 days ahead and you can export your data before then.
5. Payment through Creem
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem. Creem is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it sells premium to you, collects payment, handles VAT and issues your receipt, under Creem's buyer terms. Creem also provides customer service for billing questions and handles returns.
6. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
- A yearly subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current price, charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel it.
- You can cancel at any time before the renewal date through the subscription management link in Creem's receipt email, or by writing to [email protected]. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep premium until the end of the year you paid for.
- When premium ends, your account returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: content over the free limits stays, and you can still use, edit and delete it, but you cannot add more of it until you are back under the limit or subscribe again.
- If we change the subscription price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
7. Refunds and your right of withdrawal
You can get a full refund within 14 days of any purchase, without giving a reason. The details are in the Refund Policy.
8. Your content
What you store in the service remains yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, synchronise and back it up for you. We do not look at it except where needed to keep the service running or when the law requires.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may improve or change features; we will not take away something premium users paid for without offering a fair remedy.
10. Liability
The service is provided with the care that can reasonably be expected of it. We are not liable for indirect damage or for loss of data you did not keep elsewhere, except where the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes that affect you will be announced by email to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and cancel a subscription before then.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, without taking away the protection given to you by the mandatory law of the country where you live. Please contact us first — most things are solved by an email. A consumer may also turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, adr.coi.cz) for out-of-court dispute resolution.
